ECL: Musharraf to move court against government decision

ISLAMABAD: General (retd) Pervez Musharraf after consulting his lawyers has decided to challenge the decision of the government in high court for not removing the name of the former president from Exit Control List (ECL).

According to sources, counsels of former president, Dr Khalid Ranjha and Faisal Chaudhry Advocate met Musharraf in his farmhouse. The meeting lasted for more than two hours, the source said.

Due to difference of opinions among counsels, it was not decided whether the decision of the government should be challenged in Sindh High Court or Islamabad High Court, the sources said.

The forum would be decided after more consultation in one or two days, the sources added.
