Sehwan: Coach-truck collision kills 8

SEHWAN: At least eight persons including four children were killed and six sustained injuries in a passenger coach and truck collision on Indus Highway here on Sunday, Geo News reported.

Edhi sources said that a passenger coach enroute from Karachi to Sehwan crashed head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction near Laky Shah Saddar on Indus Highway, leaving 8 persons including 4 children dead while another 6 sustained injuries.

The deceased reportedly belonged to Surjani area of Karachi and were on their way to Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar's shrine for pilgrimage.

The deceased and injured were shifted to Tehsil Sehwan Hospital.
