LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and leader of the opposition in national assembly, Syed Khurshid Shah Sunday said that the country could not tolerate any further dictator and added the minor mistakes of the parliament should be overlooked, Geo News reported.
Talking to media at the airport here, Khurshid Shah said, “I have tied to convince Mian sahib that Pakistan Protection Bill was not good for the country and told him that this Bill in future might create difficulty for you.”
He said he doesn’t think that the talks with Taliban continuing.
Leader of the opposition said that the attack on Hamid Mir was highly regrettable and added the nature of allegation demands that the government and the army should jointly make an enquiry into it.
He said that the recent survey rated Muslim League-N’s performance 59 percent and sarcastically added it seems inflation, load shedding and law and order problems all have been resolved.
