Some elements want confrontation among army, govt & media: Sanaullah

LAHORE: Law Minister Punjab Rana Sanaullah has stated every Pakistani including Geo News anchorperson Hamid Mir respect Pakistan Army, Geo News reported.

Rana Sanaullah said some elements wanted confrontation of army with media and the government, adding these elements were neither well-wishers of the government nor the military.

He said demonstration in favor of army by a banned outfit was not goodwill for the military.

He said Amir Mir gave statement in emotional way, of with Director General ISPR gave an appropriate answer.

Rana said some channels wanted to take business revenge from Geo News, adding blockade of Jang and Geo would not benefit anyone but would have negative impact on the society.

He said blockade of Jang and Geo was no option, adding it would further deteriorate the situation.
