Imran’s murder widely condemned

KARACHI: Along with MQM’s Rabitta Committee and Quaid Altaf Hussain, all the political and social groups have strongly condemned killing of Dr. Imran Farooq, a former convener of party, Geo News reported.

Deploring the murder of Imran Farooq, Altaf Hussain expressed condolence with bereaved family, saying that the loss to party is irreparable.

He said he could not forget such a tragic incident all his life long, adding that this heinous incident is unbelievable.

Also, MQM’s Rabitta Committee announced 10 day mourning all across world to express solidarity with the bereaved family during which all party activities will remain suspended.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Federal Minister Syed Khursheed Shah, Federal Minister Babar Awan, Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf, Pakistani High Commissioner in UK Wajid Shamsul Hassan, Chief JUI Maulana Fazlul Rehman, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Allama Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat ul Ibad, Ameer Jammat-e-Islami Munawwar Hassan, Liaquat Baloch, Chairman PTI Imran Khan, spokesman Bilawal House Ijaz Durrani, MNA Nawab Khan Wasaan also expressed condolence with bereaved family, condemning the heinous incident strongly.
