ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister, Pervaiz Rashid Sunday said that Imran Khan seeing certain defeat wanted that the crowd storm into the field to disturb the match giving him the pretext to runaway, Geo News reported.
Commenting on the protest rally of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief, Imran Khan here, Pervaiz Rashid talking in cricket terminology said that Imran Khan evading to play the full inning of 50 overs and added he wanted to win the final without playing the quarter-final and that too with the umpires of his choice.
The federal information minister said that Imran Khan seeing his certain defeat wanted that the crowd storm into the field disturbing the match giving an excuse to run away from the field.
Pervaiz Rashid said that Imran Khan’s performance in the first ten overs of his quarterfinal match could be gauged from the performance of his Khyber Pukhtunkhaw government, which proved highly disastrous and the defeat appears imminent.
