Justice Nasirul Mulk sworn in as acting CJP

ISLAMABAD: Justice Nasirul Mulk Friday took oath as the acting Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) here, Geo News reported.

Sources said that Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja administered the oath to the senior most Judge of the Supreme Court Justice Nasirul Mulk as acting CJP in a simple but dignified ceremony here.

Justice Nasirul Mulk will continue serving as acting CJP until the return of the CJP Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jilani on completion of his 10 days tour of Canada.

Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president, Kamran Murtuza, Islamabad High Court Chief Justice, Anwar Kasi, all the judges of the Supreme Court and former SC Registrar, Dr. Faqir Hussain also attended the oath taking ceremony.
