QUETTA: A remote controlled bomb planted by unknown miscreants at Civil Hospital in Quetta has been successfully defused, Geo News reported Friday.
According police sources, the explosives were packed in a container of Ghee and planted in the Dental Section of Civil Hospital situated here at Jinnah Road.
Police sprung to action and rushed to the site upon getting the report of the bomb in the hospital where bomb disposal squad successfully defused the remote controlled bomb.
Police sources further said that explosives weighing 8 kilograms were packed in a Ghee container.
The initial investigation disclosed that the bomb was planted to target security forces.
