LAHORE: The showbiz industry, all over the country, is in a joyous mood today as one of our popular singer, actor, musician, writer and painter Ali Zafar turns 34 today.
Ali Zafar, a singing sensation not only recognized within Pakistan but all over the world, started his career from film ‘Shararat’.
Fans and well wishers from across the country and globe have been wishing Ali Zafar on social media.
Born on May 18, 1980 Ali Zafar started his singing career in 2003 with his first album titled Channo.
Ali zafar hit the music scene in 2003 with his single “Channo” which sold half a million copies in just the first week and ended up selling over 5 million copies of his first album “huqa Paani”. The album went on to become one of the biggest hits the country had every produced and made him a superstar over night.
Ali was seen acting on television and modeling on the ramp. He also spent his evenings painting live portraits in a lobby of a 5 star hotel to help raise some extra money to produce his music. With his reputation of being a successful model, actor and a painter his move of releasing a dance single left the nation in awe. A part from this his unique style became an inspiration to the youth and put him on a pedestal to becoming a national icon. He was awarded the Youth icon award in 2007 by the biggest award ceremony Lux Style Awards in Pakistan.
Ali Zafar started his Bollywood career with Tere Bin Laden in 2010. Before entering the world of films, Ali had already mesmerized people with his songs. His album Huqa Pani struck a chord with music lovers all over. Besides acting and singing, he is also adept in wielding the paint-brush, and loves to let his imagination flow on the canvas.
Ali was last seen playing a kameena (a cute brat) in the remake of Chasme Baddoor. He will next be starring in an action film called Kill Dill along with Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra, and in Aman Ki Asha opposite Yami Gautam. We wish the dude a dhamakedaar birthday and the best of luck for his future films.
