Four gunned down in an hour in Karachi

KARACHI: Four persons lost their lives in different firing incidents that occur across the metropolis in an hour on Monday, Geo News reported.

According to police, two persons were killed when unknown assailants riding two motorcycles opened fire in Methadar area. One of the victims was identified as Shaukat Shirazi while the other victim could not be identified.

Police told that Shaukar Shirazi was the local leader of Jaffaria Alliance.

Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen and Shia Ulema Council strongly condemned the killings.

On the other hand, two more firing incidents took place near Liaquatabad post office and Manghopir areas where two persons were shot dead.

It may also be mentioned here that a woman was also gunned down in Keamari area on Sunday night.
