Foreign assets case: PM Nawaz, Zardari among politicians issued notices

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday ordered for the re-issuance of notices to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, former president Asif Ali Zardari and several other politicians in the foreign assets case, Geo News reported.

The petitioner in his submissions to the court has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, former president Asif Ali Zardari and several other politicians have stashed away their assets in foreign counties through money laundering and prayed to the court to order them to bring their assets back to the country.

The court ordering re-issuance of notices to Nawaz Sharif, Zardari and others and adjourned the hearing until June 16.
