2 cops among four shot dead in Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas

HYDERABAD: Four people including two policemen were shot dead and three others injured in Hyderabad and Mirpur, Geo News reported late Saturday night.

Police said that unknown gunmen opened fire at the residence of a local builder in Latifabad area of the city killing two policemen and a servant.

SP Pir Farid Jan said that the incident was result of an old enmity as a son of the builder Javed Sheikh was also killed some time ago after which the policemen were deployed for security.

Unknown motorcyclists opened fire outside the office of a lawyer Maula Bux, killing one and injuring three others on Talpur road in Mirpur Khas.

The lawyer who was sitting outside his office also sustained injuries in the armed attack.
