KARACHI: Former interior minister and Pakistan People’s Party leader Rehman Malik has said that a Pakistani representative should have reached London within 24-hour of Altaf Hussain’s arrest.
Rehman Malik who visited the MQM’s sit-in to express solidarity with Altaf Hussain on Thursday demanded of the government to send a high-level delegation to London to get cognizance of Hussian’s health condition.
He said that Altaf Hussain’s services for the democracy were not hidden from anybody. Malik also called on international community and The International Human Rights body to grant exemption to Altaf Hussain as he was ill.
