Car-van clash leaves 4 dead in Chakwal

TALAGANG: Four persons including two women and two children died, while 11 sustained injuries as a car and a passenger van came clashing on Chakwal Road on Saturday morning here, Geo News reported.

Police said that the passenger van caught fire after it clashed with a car leaving 4 passengers including 2 children, 2 women dead, while 11 sustained injuries. All the three commuters in the car were rescued, while the injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital and City Hospital.

Police attributed the cause of the accident to reckless driving at a turning point on the road.
