Rescue sources said that some unidentified armed motorbike riders targeting a man standing beside the road opened fire with modern weapons grievously injuring him, who succumbed to his injuries, while Edhi volunteers were shifting him to the hospital.
The motive behind this target killing could not immediately be known, as further investigations in progress.
