LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain made a telephonic contact with former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf and Pakistan Ulema Council head Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, Geo News reported.
During conversation with Musharraf, Altaf greeted the former president over court verdict to remove his name from Exit Control List (ECL). He also prayed for health of Musharraf’s mother.
Musharraf thanked MQM chief for raising voice for him.
Meanwhile, Altaf during telephonic talk with Tahir Ashrafi said terrorist attack at Karachi airport and sensitive military installations were matter of concern.
Time has come to rid the country of these terrorists, he asserted.
