According to police, the incident occurred on Sunday night when almost 40 militants stormed a check post in Torghar and injured four policemen who were present there.
Militants threw the security men out of the check post after tying them with ropes and blew the check post with explosives.
The injured policemen were shifted to Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad for treatment.
