ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader Khursheed Shah Tuesday said he has written a letter to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif demanding of him to appoint the Chief Election Commissioner on permanent basis.
Khursheed Shah said Justice Nasirul Mulk continues to serve as acting Chief Election Commissioner.
The opposition leader said despite raising this issue repeatedly by the political parties, the government has so far failed to take any remedial action.
