Four die as passenger van comes under armed attack in Kohat

KOHAR: Four persons lost their lives after a passenger van came under a fire attack in the suburban area of Kohat on Sunday.

Three kids and two women of a family sustained injuries in what is said to be an act of terrorism.

Two terrorists opened fire on the pick up van en route to Khyber Agency from Kohat here at Kuchai Zera Road, killing four persons and hurting three kids and two women of a family.

The injured were rushed to District Headquarter Hospital Kohat and Astarzai.

Upon getting the report, the police reached the site of the strike and kick started a search operation in the area to track down the culprits.

Those killed and injured were heading back home after doing shopping for the holy month of Ramzan.

The FIR of the incident has been registered in Astarzai Police Station.
