Pervaiz Rasheed dubs passage of PoP bill as historic

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rasheed Thursday described as historic the passage of Protection of Pakistan (PoP) Bill 2014.

“The Parliament has proved that we as a nation stand united against terrorism and extremism,” Pervaiz Rasheed said in a media statement.

Congratulating the nation on adoption of PoP bill, he said the political parties have proved their maturity of vision on the matter of country’s security. “Everyone put the national interest over their personal priorities,” he added.

He hoped that the political parties will also show solidarity in resolving other issues.
