LAHORE: Senior PML-N leader and former Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah has called for an inquiry against Dr Tahirul Qadri, dubbing Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief as prime accused in model town incident.
“Qadri’s revolution will vanish if he spends a night in lockup,” Sanaullah said while addressing party workers in Faisalabad.
He said that the inquiry team had yet to visit the crime scene despite lapse of 18 days.
The former minister who had to resign after the bloody episode in Model Town said: “I as a common citizen call for inclusion of Qadri in the investigation,”
Rana Sanullah said that there would have been no loss had Qadri not provoked people through his speech.
