The two leaders were gunned down on Saturday near the old Sabzi Mandi (vegetable market). According to the police, the two local Qari Abdul Rahman and Noor Zaman were killed over a personal disagreement.
However workers and supporters of the ASWJ blocked the university road for traffic in protest on Sunday for over six hours. The road was reopened following the funeral prayers.
