According to police, the incident occurred in a suburban village area of Sadiq Kalhoro where the members of the rival family barged into a house and opened firing that killed a woman and her son on the spot.
Two others sustained injuries in the shootout while the assailants managed to flee successfully from the site.
Police took the custody of the bodies and initiated investigation.
