Woman, two children burnt to death in Gujranwala clash

GUJRANWALA: A woman and two children were burnt to death when unknown miscreants set five houses on fire during clash between two groups here late Sunday night, Geo News reported.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred at Haidri Chowk. The miscreants also looted several shops.

A woman and two children, trapped in a house, sustained serious burnt injuries and later died in a hospital. Nine others also received burnt wounds.

CPO Waqas Nazir said rescue teams have brought the fire under control, adding people have also been dispersed, while investigation was underway to probe into the incident.
