GLASGOW: Pakistani boxer Muhammad Waseem on Saturday lost the final match of Fly 52 kg boxing as part of the ongoing Commonwealth Games here and ended up winning a silver medal for the country.
He was defeated by Australia’s Andrew Moloney in the Fly (52 kg) final bout.
England is leading the Commonwealth Games in terms of medals with 50 gold, 52 silver and 46 bronze while Australia is following with 42 gold, 40 silver and 44 bronze. Canada’s present standing is third with 30 gold, 14 silver and 31 bronze.
