LAHORE: The Punjab police have lodged a case against Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahiurl Qadri for incitement to violence and hate speech.
According to police, Qadri had provoked his workers during a speech asking them to take law into their hands.
The case was lodged after an analysis by the law department in Lower Mall police station on behalf of a citizen. However, a spokesman for the provincial government said he was not aware of any case against the Awami Tehreek chief.
