ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said if the government was serious, it should withdraw Article 245 forthwith and allow his party's 'Azadi March' to take place.
In his address to the national assembly and later talking to media, Qureshi said on one hand political leaders carrying messages and on the other the government was busy in taking action against workers.
He said the arrests and suppression of voices would further worsen the situation instead of improving.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the government may do whatever it wanted, but August 14 March would be taken out under all circumstances, it would be peaceful and added if any damage is done, the government would be responsible.
