KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former interior minister, Rahman Malik Saturday said that the government should allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri to stage their peaceful protest demonstrations unhindered, Geo News reported.
He said that the government should have addressed the issues long before as revolution and Azadi March was being talked about since last few months.
On return from London, talking to media at the Karachi Airport, Rahman Malik said that it was the democratic right of Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri to stage peaceful protests.
He appealed to Tahirul Qadri and Imran Khan to issue directives to their workers to remain peaceful.
Rahman Malik said that the government should try find solution in the APC and advised PM Nawaz Sharif to take the lead in this regard.
