Tahirul Qadri retracts statements from Sunday speech
LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader, Tahirul Qadri Monday denied issuing a statement of ‘martyring anyone who retreats’ from his ‘revolution march’ during his two-hour long address to his workers in Lahore yesterday.

He clarified that he had only said that if Tahirul Qadri or Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan draws back before bringing about a revolution either of them should be strictly taken to task. “And this I had said as a joke,” he added.

Taking a u-turn on one more of his yesterday’s statement, he said his ‘revolution march’ has no link whatsoever with ‘Azadi March’ of Imran Khan.

Tahirul Qadri had clearly said in his Sunday night speech that his ‘revolution march’ and Imran Khan’s ‘Azadi March’ would move side-by-side.
