Musharraf root cause of anarchy, turmoil: Ibrahim
PESHAWAR: Chief of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter Professor Ibrahim Tuesday termed Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s demand of ouster of Nawaz Sharif government as unconstitutional.

Talking to media men after distributing aid among Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Swat, Professor Ibrahim said agenda of Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri were different, claiming that an ‘unknown force’ has brought them together.

He termed the former military ruler Pervez Musharraf as root cause of all the chaos in the country.

He added that Imran Khan’s seeking of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation was unjustified and that’s why JI is not supporting the cricketer-turned politician.

“How is it possible to move together when Imran Khan was struggling for electoral reforms and Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri was trying to bring about revolution?” he wondered.
