Rashid terms Imran’s march ‘move against LHC verdict’
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Senator Pervaiz Rashid Thursday said the march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan had now turned into a defiance against the ruling of Lahore High Court (LHC).

In a statement here, Pervaiz Rashid said Imran Khan should show honour for the decision of LHC.

He said now Imran Khan’s march is in favour of demands which have been declared illegal. Therefore, it has now become a march against the LHC, he added.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan in his latest address to the PTI marchers said holding a march was a democratic right and that they were heading towards Islamabad to demand of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to step down.

The protest marches of PTI and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), which were taken out this morning, are on their way to the capital city of Islamabad as planned, without paying heed to the verdict of LHC which termed their demands unconstitutional.
