10 terrorists killed in Quetta attacks
QUETTA: At least Ten terrorists were killed and fourteen persons including twelve security men wounded following two simultaneous shootout at Samungli Airbase and Khalid Army Aviation here on Thursday night.

Sources said the terrorists attacked Samungli Airbase and Khali Army Aviation simultaneously which was forcefully retaliated by the security forces that left eight assailants including two suicide bombers killed.

The terrorists’ attacks came when a few hours before Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief had landed at the Airbase, sources said.





Provincial Home Minister, Sarfaraz Bugti told media that the terrorists wanted to enter into the Airbase, which was timely foiled and no damage was done to the aircraft's stationed over there.

The security forces cordoning of the area launched a search operation and arrested two suspected persons.

Following the attacks, security in the provincial capital city has been further tightened.
