Govt, military don’t want ‘unconstitutional’ change: Sarwar

LAHORE: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar Saturday said the military and civil administration were on same page and were not in favour of any unconstitutional change.

The Punjab Governor was talking to media men after calling on Jamat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj ul Haq at Mansoora.

On the occasion, JI Chief Siraj ul Haq said they have to be vigilant as some people were adding fuel to the fire, expressing hope that the country would be pulled out from the current turmoil.

Their meeting comes in the backdrop of protest marches being staged by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek in Islamabad for bringing about major changes in the system of the country.
