Khurshid Shah convenes meeting of political parties

ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and Pakistan People’s Party stalwart Syed Khurshid Shah has convened a meeting of political parties having representation in the parliament as part of his efforts to normalize the political situation emerging after the long march and sit-ins of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek.

The meeting will be held today (Monday) at 2:00 pm at the Parliament House. Shah talked to Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Aftab Sherpao and Awami National Party leader Ghulam Ahmed Bilour on Sunday ad the meeting is expected to discuss the prevailing political situation.
