PTI announces to hold sit in at D-Chowk
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced that the party would hold a sit-in at D-Chowk in the federal capital’s red zone.

This decision was taken during a PTI core committee meeting held here on Tuesday. The party’s leadership emphasied the sit-in would be peaceful and appealed to workers to restrain from any violent activities.

Meanwhile, Rangers have been deployed outside Parliament House to avoid any untoward incident.

PTI chairman, Imran Khan said that the only option was for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign and the time to listen to him had passed. Imran Khan also admitted that he had earlier assured Interior Minister Nisar of not entering the red zone but later sent a message to him that he could not control workers.
