Qadri tells followers not to desert him
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri has alleged that the government is not allowing people to bring food items to the rally and has also alleged that water being supplied could be contaminated.

Addressing his followers in Islamabad Qadri called out to his followers not to leave him, adding if they were to desert him. He added that the government has barricaded the area with containers creating an open air prison.

Dr. Qadri said that the government was not allowing trucks carrying food and other essentials to come through and called on his followers to go to Margalla road and free the stopped containers themselves.

Attributing his information to a high level government officer Qadri said, that a plan was in place to contaminate the water being supplied by the government.

While Dr Qadri has called on his followers to remain strong he has also taken promises from them that they wont desert him.
