LAHORE: Former law minister and senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Rana Sanaullah has said that he had ordered removal of encroachments but the provocation from the Minhajul Quran workers led to violent clashes in Model Town.
He said that nobody was held responsible for the tragedy in the judicial commission’s report as it was also contradictory. He said that it could not be found as to whose bullet killed whom.
Speaking to Geo News, the firebrand PML-N leader said that the government was ready to hold inquiry into the Model Town tragedy if Allama Tahirul Qadri wants it on merit.
He said that the Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief was not a well wisher of victim families as he was politicking on the issue.
