SIALKOT: India’s Border Security Forces (BSF) yet again opened unprovoked firing in Sialkot’s Bajwat sector just a day after India and Pakistan held a commander-level meeting to defuse the tension between both the sides, Geo News reported on Thursday.
According to Rangers’ sources, the Indian forces violated the ceasefire at the Line of Control in Bajwat sector, Sujeetgarh and Charwah sector where they opened firing.
Due to firing and shelling, fear gripped the area. However, Chenab Rangers retaliated the attack after which the firing halted. Fortunately, no casualty was reported in the incident.
A United Nations Organization’s (UNO) team also visited the Pakistani areas that came under attack by the Indian security forces to review the damages in the cross-border attacks.
