Siraj, Kaira call on Imran Khan, request him to review deadline

ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Sirajul Haq and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira held a meeting with PTI chairman Imran Khan here on Thursday, Geo News reported.

Speaking to media after the meeting, Kaira said they had requested Khan to review his deadline.

Kaira said he was there after consultation with party leadership, adding that JI chief Haq had invited him.

Kaira further said: “Imran Khan listened our recommendations carefully and will consult his aides.” He said there is also need the government makes its intentions and attitude correct.

He said they could not disclose before media the discussions held with Khan.

Pakistan will get electoral reforms and better future through this struggle, said JI chief and added that democracy will prevail and no third party will come.

Haq said it was good sign that the participants of the sit-ins were peaceful.
