ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader, Aitzaz Ahsan Saturday disclosed in detail a four-layered anti-government plot that unfolded before the nation over the past days and weeks.
Speaking in Geo News programme ‘Capital Talk’ hosted by senior Anchor Hamid Mir, Aitzaz Ahsan said the conspiracy was woven in four layers and gave them names of Plan A, B, C and D.
He said under plan A, one million people were to be gathered and brought in Islamabad but it failed.
Plan B was to take the demonstrators to Islamabad’s D-Chowk while plan C was to storm the Parliament House and Prime Minister House, Aitzaz disclosed. He, however, said that these plans were rendered unfeasible by the convening of the joint sitting of the Parliament.
Without mentioning what plan D was, he said it failed after the reconciliation between him and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Aitzaz said the Prime Minister would emerge stronger after coming out of the challenges being faced by his government today.
He said he would never put his weight behind politics of ‘might is right’.
