NADRA asks Imran to avoid exerting pressure

ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has said that the process of verification of thumb impression is being carried out with “good intentions”

A spokesman for the NADRA on Wednesday asked PTI chairman Imran Khan to avoid exerting undue pressure on the organization.

The spokesman advised Imran Khan through a statement to refrain from influencing court matter as an election tribunal was reviewing the issue of verification of thumb impression.

He said that it was the election tribunal’s job to draw any result keeping in view NADRA report, evidences and witnesses.

The spokesman added that NADRA had previously submitted a report on thumb impressions with a respective election tribunal.
