Qadri withdraws legal notice sent to Bilawal

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Allama Tahirul Qadri Sunday withdrew the legal notice claiming damages of Rs1 billion from the Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his derogatory remarks against the former on micro blogging website Twitter.

Earlier, Ishtiaq Advocate, the lawyer of Tahirul Qadri, sent a legal notice to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari demanding him to either tender an apology or pay Rs1 billion for calling Qadri a ‘cartoon’ in a message on Twitter.

Ishtiaq Advocate said Tahirul Qadri is a prominent religious personality and this remark had hurt the sentiments of his family.

As these tickers began running on TV channels, Tahirul Qadri directed his lawyer to withdraw the legal notice. He said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is like his hild.
