HYDERABAD: People in Hyderabad have been robed of mammoth amount of valuables, worth of millions of rupees, amid more than a dozen incidents of street crimes reported overnight, previously never featured for the city of peace and calm, which included jewelry, currency notes, mobile phones and etc., Geo News reported Wednesday.
Meanwhile, three persons, including a woman, suffered injuries in resistance against unidentified miscreants amidst street crime happenings, witnesses and hospital sources said.
According to police version, those street crime occurrences were reported in areas lying in Latifabad, Qasimabad, Hussainabad and other localities of the city, while these incidents are on rise at alarming pace.
DPO Hyderabad Muneer Shaikh said following the Geo News reports over the issue, Panyari Police have managed to arrest two criminals, wanted in street crime incidents, during a raid.
