SARGODHA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday demolished the wall and ticket collection booth of Sargodha stadium for holding its next public rally on Friday.
According to details, PTI leader Imran Khan will address the public rally in Sargodha on October 17.
The reason for bringing down the wall and ticket collection booth of the stadium was said to be the small size of the gate through which the container for building the stage could not be brought inside the venue.
The above action caused a severe damage to 32 sq ft area of Sargodha stadium.
Sargodha Administration explained that the local leadership of PTI has assured to rebuild the demolished ticket collection booth and wall of the stadium after its rally.
It is not out of place to note that seven people had been killed and dozens others injured in PTI’s previous public rally in Multan following a stampede.
