Five persons on way to court gunned down in Sargodha

SARGODHA: Five persons including two brothers were killed when they were on their way to attend a court hearing in Sargodha on Thursday, Geo News reported.

Details have it that the incident took place in Kot Momin area of Sargodha when unidentified gunmen riding in a car opened fire on another car and killed five persons belonging to the same family including two brothers. The victims were on their way to court to attend the hearing.

The assailants fled after killing the five persons.

The victims were facing charges of murdering two persons belonging to the rival clan and they were on their way to session court in Bhalwal to attend the hearing.

Police told that the incident is the result of old enmity. The victims and accused belonged to Gondal clan.

The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
