LAHORE: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj ul Haq on Thursday said the ‘corrupt’ ruling class has ‘sabotaged’ Pakistan’s ideology and even today they don’t have anything except for ‘hollow slogans’.
Addressing a press conference here in Mansoora, Siraj said some ‘political actors’ had deceived the people of the country, adding only ‘Islamic revolution’ could bring about a real change in Pakistan.
He regretted that while the poor working abroad transfer their money to Pakistan, the ruling class stashes away its wealth in foreign countries. “The elites have not only built their ‘palaces’ in foreign countries but continue to amass and save their fortunes there,” he added.
“Did Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah found the country for this corrupt ruling class,” questioned Siraj.
