Tahirul Qadri ends demo in Islamabad, announces next sit-in in Karachi
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Allama Tahirul Qadri ended his protest sit-in that continued in Islamabad for more than two months and announced to stage his next demonstration in Karachi on December 25.

Addressing the participants of his sit-in in Islamabad, he told them to pack their belongings and return to their homes.

He said the next revolutionary sit-in would be staged in Karachi, adding, PAT would spread protests in all the major cities of the country.

Later, Qadri and all the PAT workers left the venue of the sit-in.

Tahirul Qadri-led PAT and Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had launched their anti-government protests on the same day on August 14. While PTI continues its agitation in the capital city, the PAT announced to wrap up its sit-in today after staging it for a period of 70 days.

Imran Khan today reiterated his resolve that he would not leave the site of his sit-in till he gets justice.
