LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief, Dr Tahirul Qadri has left Pakistan for his foreign trip tonight, Geo News reported.

Tahirul Qadri will first go to Dubai and later to London.

Speaking to media ahead of his departure, PAT Chief said: “70 days sit-ins have created political awareness among the workers and common men.”

He said the aim of his visit to different countries is to organize his party, adding that change would come in the national politics after his travelling.

Qadri said he would return Pakistan on November 17.

Earlier, on Monday Qadri had said that he would visit North America and Europe.

Dr Qadri said he would be travelling to London on the 3 AM flight and after a six hour transit would travel to North America. The PAT chief further said he would travel to Canada on 13 November.

It had earlier been reported that the PAT chief would be travelling abroad to collect funds for PAT protests and sit-ins.
