Old enmity claims two lives in Khairpur

KHAIRPUR: Two persons were gunned down when two rival groups exchanged fire in a suburban area of Khairpur, Geo News reported on Wednesday.

According to police, the two groups – Lahora and Narejo- clashed with each other in Sadiq Kalhoro village in Khairpur during which two persons were killed. Both the victims belonged to Narejo clan.

Sources told that several persons have so far lost their lives due to the clashes due to old enmity in the two rival groups.

DSP Muhammad Rafique told that investigation is currently underway into the incident while the dead bodies were shifted to hospital for post mortem.
