PESHAWAR: At least 15 militants and three security officials were killed in a clash near Bara Tehseel during the ongoing campaign against extremist elements.
According to a news agency, four security officials also sustained injuries during the clashes.
Local sources said that a son of key militant figure Mangal Bagh was also killed in the clashes. Mangal Bagh is chief of the banned Lashkar-e-Islam militia.
However, official sources didn’t confirm the reports about the killing of Mangal Bagh’s son.
